James Morrow Obituary
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Rising Star, Texas. The burial will follow the service at the Rising Star Heritage Cemetery in Rising Star. The family will have a time of visitation on Tuesday, July 30 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. at Higginbotham Funeral Home located at 309 N E 4th Street, Cross Plains, Texas.
Dick was born on March 3, 1944 in Gorman, Texas to the late James Robert "JR" and Edith White-Morrow. Dick lived in Rising Star most of his life. Dick married Mary Lopez on May 17, 1980 in Abilene, Texas.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents, JR and Edith Morrow; brother, Robert Morrow; sister, Joy Harris; two granddaughters, Samantha Jeanine and Ashley Nicole Hernadez.
Dick is survived by his wife, Mary Morrow of Rising Star; children, Shawn Morrow (Carla) of Fort Worth; Tammi Castillo (Fernando) of Fort Worth; Kristi Hernandez (Phillip) of Garden City; Freddie Perales Jr. (Kirstin) of McKinney; Maxine Hill (Kerry) of Aledo; Michael Perales (Becca) of Hudson Oaks; grandchildren, Taylor Houser (Matt); Blake Morrow (Makenzie); Molly Morrow; Alex Castillo; Chris Castillo; Arianna Miner; Monica Castillo; Korynne Hernandez; Remington Hernandez; Shannon Lotti; Nick Lotti; Austin Hill (Angelica); Garret Hill (Brea); Kaiden Hill; Michaela Perales; Max Perales; Emma Perales; great grandchildren, Elliott Houser; Mason Houser; Oakley Tate Morrow; Olivia "Livi Kay" Morrow; another great grandbaby on the way; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
