James Larry Morton, born on January 16, 1955, in Missouri, passed away on October 2, 2025, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He was a cherished father, brother, grandfather, and friend whose presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
James is survived by his beloved children, Sarina Morton, Samantha Morton, and Sabrina Dubree. He took immense pride in his role as a grandfather to Dakota Price, Airagon Jone, Heavenly McManus, Jessie Maynard, and Ashley Watson. He also leaves behind siblings Donald Sargent, Cecil Sargent, and Nina Nall.
Throughout his life, James found joy in simple pleasures such as fishing, where he spent countless hours reflecting on life’s moments. His loyal companion, Buddy the dog, was not only a pet but his best friend.
James is predeceased by both of his parents, who have surely welcomed him with open arms. His legacy will live on through the love and memories he created with his family and friends.
