James Earl Myers

James Earl Myers, 79, of Corsicana, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. Jim was born on April 16, 1946, to Dudley B. and Ruby (Horne) Myers of Seymour, Texas. James lived most of his adult life in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, retiring from HCBeck Contractors in 2009, after nearly 33 years, ending his career as a Senior Project Manager. In 2003, Jim and his wife Janis relocated to their retirement home on the lake in Corsicana.

James was proceeded in death by his parents and sister Linda Powell. He is survived by his loving wife, Janis (Maddox) Myers, his son Robin Myers, his daughter Melody Winters, and his son Jason Myers; grandchildren Katie Wender, Amanda Doubleday, Chandler Winters, and Hannah Winters; brother E. Dudley Myers, sister Margie Myers, brother Jerry Myers, and sister Diane Karr.

The family will have a private service to be determined at a later date. Cremation Services have been entrusted to Corley Funeral Home, 418 North 13th Street, Corsicana, TX.
