James Newman Obituary

James "Jimmy" Newman, 64 husband to Ruby Newman, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2023 at UK in Lexington, KY, after a hard fought battle with cancer. James was born on June 24, 1958 in Beattyville, Ky.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two children, James L. Newman and Heather Lynn Evans; three grandchildren Samantha Jo, Amanda Grace, and Ryan James Evans; two sisters Betty (Steve) Stevens and Fredia (Roger) Oliver; as well as many nephews, nieces, and friends.
James was preceded in death by his parents Lerman and Manda Jane Newman; brother Curtis Lynn Newman; nephew Curtis Paul Newman and niece Tina Michelle Elliot.
The family will have a gathering April 12, 2023 from 5-6pm with a service to follow at 6pm, at Clark Legacy Center Brannon Crossing.
