James Nimmer Obituary

Jim was born on November 22, 1950 and passed away on October 17, 2024 at the age of 73. He is lovingly survived by his wife Sandra L. Nimmer. Beloved father of James R. (Kelly) Nimmer Jr. and Kristine M. (Duane) Nimmer. Special brother-in-law of John (Shelley) Lasocki. Proud grandpa of Samuel and Lillian Nimmer. Dear brother of Barbara (Jamie) Koss and the late Carol (Richard Jr.) Badzinski. Further survived by his nieces and nephews: Scott (Lindsay) Christensen, Shelly (Richard) Kuehl and Melissa (Shawn) Lewis. Long time friends and neighbor of Render "Brad" Spencer and Kathy Spencer. He is preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Mary Lou "Ernie" Nimmer.
Beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Fan of old school westerns, modern day politics and wrestling. He had a heart of gold, continuously putting others need before his own. His love for his family and his giving nature to others before himself was larger than life.
Visitation will take place on Monday, October 28, 2024 at Divine Mercy Church (800 Marquette Ave., South Milwaukee, WI) from 9:30-10:45 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM. Entombment to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the American Cancer Society. Please see the funeral home website for a complete obituary.
