Janis E. Nimmer

Janis Ellen Thresa Linck Nimmer, born November 26, 1945 in Waukesha WI. She struggled with COPD before she went home on March 17, 2025. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Linck and Albert Linck, her grandparents on both sides and parents, Lorraine Mary and Roland A. Linck.
She is survived by a son, David K. Nimmer and two sisters, Carol Hilt of Tennessee and Mary Ann Bergen and brother-in-law, Paul Bergen both of Arkansas. Sisters-in-law, Karen and husband, Raymond, deceased, Gayon of Marinette, Wisconsin, Martha Ordish and Terry Ordish her husband, of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, brother-in-Law, John Nimmer and wife Linda and several nieces and nephews.
She thought of herself as a jack of all trades and a master of none. She tried to be involved in many different areas, Hospice, church, Senior Citizens, plus others. She loved mostly to be in the garden getting her hands dirty. She loved her husband and was with him 59 years until his death, March 5, 2022
Visitation will be at Hansen-Onion-Martell funeral home on Friday, April 4th from 4 until 8 p.m. A parish Vigil will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Menominee at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 5th with Father Abraham Mupparathara presiding. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery.
