Paul Olson Obituary
Paul was a Vietnam Veteran (1968-1969) who served in the U.S. Army from 1967 to1973 with 160th Aviation Group and 101st Aviation Group. After the Army he pursued a career in construction and maintenance with Northern Home Improvement-Lefty McCabe, Mike Bretl Construction, Northland Village, and 25 years Property Manager/Maintenance for Cheri Blvd Apartments. He also coached Little League/Babe Ruth Baseball for 10 years and took home 2 championships.
Paul loved fishing, stained glass, Pink Floyd, fixing anything, shooting pool with his buddies on Wednesday nights, playing Craps at the Island Casino and most of all, his family. He was known as a man of few words and someone you could always depend on. He had an adventurous side that sent him camping across the US, flying in glider planes, traveling solo to Asia, cruises with family across the Caribbean, casino trips, traveling with family throughout Europe and Hawaii and countless concerts/music festivals.
Paul is survived by the love of his life, Fae Olson of 44 years, his children, son Eric (Missi) Everard, son Michael (April) Olson, daughter Jenny (Josh) Farrar; his grandson, Ethan Farrar. He is also survived by his sister, Monica Botzau, numerous nieces and nephews and his dog, Priscilla. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Theresa, brothers, Tom and John, sister, Gertrude and his dog, Mojo.
Paul's children would like to acknowledge their mother, Fae, for being his caregiver and advocate while he battled with illness. You graciously honored your vows through sickness and in health. The family would like to thank the following for providing a better quality of life: Iron Mountain VA Medical Center, Menominee VA Center, Marinette County Veteran's Services, Cornerstone, Rotech, Dr. Khayat and staff and Hansen-Onion-Martell for their services.
His presence-big heart, love for his family and friends, and quirky sense of humor will be missed beyond measure.
A Celebration of life will be held in the Spring; however, in the meantime, please listen to Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" in honor of Paul.

I'm so so sorry! You have my condolences. God took this great man too soon. Paul And Fae was the manager of the apartments I was in, and what a worker,he was always busy doing something. Paul had many Adventures! will be missed by many! Stay strong Fae and may God Bless you, your family and your friends. Sondra Gretzon
