Mrs. Tammy Terrell Nimmer, age 56 of Hamburg, AR, transitioned on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at her residence. A lifelong resident of Hamburg, she was a cosmetologist and owned her own salon for the past 31 years. Tammy was a member of Christ Temple Pentecostal Church and a dedicated associate at Mary's Gift Shop on the square inside CareFirst Pharmacy.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Rebecca Ann Johnson-Miller; her father, Louis Russell; her sister, Shiree Johnson, her brother, Barron Johnson; and sister Jatasha Russell. Tammy enjoyed couponing, cooking, fishing, and spending quality time with her family and friends. Tammy was a faithful member of her church, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband of 38 ½ years Lee Nimmer of Hamburg, AR; one daughter LeQuarius Thompson and husband Ray of Crossett, AR; two brothers, Adrian Tucker of Springdale, AR, and Steve Russell of Olive Branch, MS; three sisters, Vernicia Huggins and husband Allen of Crossett, AR, Jacqueline Russell of Macomb, MI, and Rosalind Russell of Florissant, MO; one grandchild, Ray Thompson, Jr., and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and close friends.
Visitation is Friday, March 28, 2025, from 6:00-7:00 P.M. at Cromwell Funeral Home. Funeral Service is Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 2:30 P.M. at Christ Temple Pentecostal Church with Bishop Alfonso Madden officiating. Active pallbearers are Joe Killingsworth, Nathan Miller, Shurun Jenkins, Terry Rucker, Carl Lewis, and Tony Rucker. Honorary pallbearers are Adrian Tucker, Ray Thompson, Cameron Johnson, Alex Huggins, Edward Morgan, TyQuan People, Allen Huggins, Sr., Calvin Frierson, Allen Huggins, Jr., and Jonathan Clark. Burial in Johnson Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
Repast will be at First Methodist Church Fellowship Hall in Hamburg.
