James O’Hare, age 65, passed away, Friday, July 18, 2025 at his residence. He was born in Germany on March 4, 1960 to John and Bertie O’Hare and lived in Reidsville for many years moving to Glennville in 2013. He was an electrician employed with Rogers State Prison and enjoyed fishing and reading.

James is a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church and is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Cecilia “CC” O’Hare.

He is survived by his children, Jeremy O’Hare (Jolene) of Augusta and Seani Vessell of Carrolton, GA; siblings, John (Kitty) O’Hare of Glennville and Patricia Smith of Jones Lake; grandchildren, Elizabeth Vessell, Khloe Vessell, Preston Vessell, Jasper Kerr and Aden O’Hare; uncle, Chuck Gee of Leesburg, GA; special friend, Tommy Godwin of Glennville; and loyal and faithful k9 companion, Buster; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private.

Low Country Cremation and Burial has the honor to serve the O’Hare family.
