JAMES R. PALETTA, SR., age 85, of Middleburg Heights, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Angeline C. (nee Maglionico) for 67 years; loving father of Deborah, James, Jr., John, Annette, Joseph (Rhonda) and Jack (Bonnie); dearest grandpa of Tricia, Marcus (deceased), Angela, Caroline, Katie, Jimmy, Jaclyn, Cody, Ryan, Joe, Jr. (deceased), Jamie, Nickolas and Gina; great-grandfather of 13; son of James and Katherine (nee Tangaro) (both deceased); brother of Gino (deceased), Anthony (deceased), Anna Zingalis (deceased), Josephine Pease, Pearl Gaspar (deceased), John, and Helen Vanderlinden; loving uncle, great-uncle and dear friend of many. Jim was the proud owner of Jim's Custom Trim and had a passion for antique cars. He was loved and will be greatly missed. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bartholomew Church, 14865 E.
