James Peters Obituary
Mr. James Albert Peters, known by all as “Jamie”, age 64, of Walterboro, entered into rest Tuesday evening, September 30, 2025, at the Trident Medical Center in North Charleston.
Born February 14, 1961, in Olar, South Carolina, he was a son of the late John Henry Peters and the late Mary Ferguson Miles. He was a retiree of JP Stevens in Walterboro which eventually transitioned into CCX. He was a member of Refuge Church in Walterboro and will always be remembered for his love of fishing and tinkering on motors.
Surviving are: a sister, Lynn Peal and her husband Bob of Walterboro; a niece, Casey DeLoach of Walterboro; and a nephew, Christopher Stone and his wife Sarah of Walterboro as well as several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 5 o’clock Wednesday afternoon, October 8, 2025, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. The family will receive friends following the funeral ceremony.
