James Plotner Obituary
He was born May 3, 1943 in Clarke County, VA; son of the late, John S. and Beulah Fritts Plotner.
Jim married Peggy Carolyn Orndorff Plotner, December 22, 1962 in Berryville, VA.
Along with his wife he is survived by his daughters, Joy Bly (Kenneth) of Clear Brook, Tammy Dyer and Peggy Windsor of Bunker Hill, WV; son, James I. Plotner, Jr. (Melissa) of Gore, VA; ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and several step sisters and brothers.
Jim is preceded in death by his son-in-law's, David Dyer and Larry Windsor; brothers, Elwood and John Plotner and sisters, Caroline Hill, and Jane Tenney.
A funeral service will be Friday, December 15, 2023 at 11:00 am at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester with Pastor Ronnie Combs and Pastor Andy Combs officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior from 10:00 – 11:00 am. Burial will follow the services at Shenandoah Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Bly, Jr., David Dyer, Jr., Larry Windsor, Jr., James I. Plotner, III, Jacob Plotner and Thomas Bly.
