James Austin Pollock

James Austin Pollock, 91, of Camilla died Monday, December 22, 2025 at his residence in Camilla.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 27 at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home with interment in Pinecrest Memory Gardens in Pelham, with military honors. Rev. Chad Boyd will officiate.
Born September 28, 1934 in Mitchell County, GA, Mr. Pollock was the son of the late Tom W. Pollock and Mary Lou Edwards Pollock. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Janet Manning Pollock and siblings, Julian Pollock, Jack Pollock, Joyce Pollock Pullen. Mr. Pollock retired from the United States Air Force as a Master Sergeant. He retired from City of Camilla, where he worked at the water treatment plant and was a member of Southside Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Susan Pollock of Camilla and Sandra Pollock Cooper (Charles) of Gaffney, SC; son, Daniel Pollock of Florida; three sisters, Jeanette Kelley (Randall), Juanita Sherrill (Tim), and Annie Ruth Hunt; six grandchildren, Cheryl Thorpe, Jennifer Cornett (Vince), Blake Tabb (Sara), Krystal Gordon, CJ Maloy (Jesse), Shayna Hendley (Derrick); great grandchildren, Hannah Curles, Holli Curles, Caleb Curles (Shelby), Aria Lozano, Ava Lozano, Isaiah Lozano, Scout Tabb, Tiger Tabb, Austin Cornett, Asher Cornett, Ellie Cornett, Lily Gatlin, Riley Gatlin, William Hendley, Jesse Hendley; and great great grandchildren, Jacob Brooks, Rebecca Smith, Joseph Curles, Samson Curles, Silas Bennett.
Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Saturday, before services, at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home in Camilla.
Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
