James G. "Jim" Potamis – of Woburn, February 29th, at the age of seventy nine. Beloved husband of Mary (Doherty) Potamis. Cherished Dad of Gregory J. Potamis, his wife Amy Copeland-Potamis of Melrose, Christine M. Potamis, her husband B.T. Conlon of Seabrook NH and Jeffrey S. Potamis, his wife Kristin of Woburn. Dear brother of Gerald C. Potamis, his wife Eugenia of Falmouth and Katherine Balesteri, her late husband John of Bradford. Adored "Papouli" of Joshua W. Potamis, his wife Wendy, Nicholas J. Potamis, his wife Dominique, Kassandra B. Potamis, Zachary Conlon, Kaycie Warner, her husband Eric, Derek and Jason Potamis, along with three great grandchildren. Jim is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and very dear friends. A Funeral will be held in The Annunciation of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 70 Montvale Avenue, Woburn, Thursday, March 7th, at 11 a.m. Interment in Woodbrook Cemetery, 100 Salem Street, Woburn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to Calling hours in the LYNCH-CANTILLON FUNERAL HOME, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Wednesday, March 6th, 4-7 p.m. Remembrances may be made to honor Jim at the Beth Israel Lahey Health at Home Care, 199 Rosewood Drive, Site 380, Danvers, MA 01923

I am so saddened to hear about Jimmy. One of Buster´s friends had called me.
I am so deeply sorry. He touched the lives of so many people that truly loved him. I hope you find strength in all those tons of memories you shared together. He was such a special person.
