James Quintanilla Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Trevino Funeral Home - Beeville on Mar. 28, 2026.
It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of James Quintanilla, a compassionate soul, born on July 9, 1967, in Beeville, Texas. James was a beacon of love and dedication, best known for his unwavering commitment to his work as an inspector for the State of Texas and his ambitious pursuit of life's joys. James, a cherished son of Beeville, relocated to Manvel, Texas, where he cultivated a life filled with love, laughter, and countless memories.

James was a proud graduate of Sam Houston State University. His dedication extended beyond his professional life, as he eagerly engaged in his passions, which included attending rodeos, a love he nurtured during his college years. As a member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, he actively participated in events that brought joy to many. His love for the outdoors was evident in his fondness for hunting and fishing, activities he eagerly shared with his son. James's compassionate nature led him to volunteer at his local church, where he touched many lives. He was a loving and dedicated father, brother, and grandfather.

James leaves behind his son, Gilbert Ian (Joy) Quintanilla; his mother, Paula Quintanilla, his brother, Michael Quintanilla; and his beloved grandson, Jesse. He also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Gilbert Quintanilla; and his grandparents, Joe "Handyman" Quintanilla, Maria Quintanilla, Pablo Keller, and Rebecca Oliveres.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, 10:00am at Trevino Funeral Home.

James's life was a testament to his loving and compassionate nature. His memory will continue to inspire and guide us. We invite you to share your memories and pictures of James on his memorial page, celebrating his life and the joy he brought into ours.
