James Daniel Raney
James Daniel Raney, 83, of 82 N. Main St. Inman, SC, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022 at Golden Age Inman.
Born in Shelby, NC on June 23, 1939, he was a son of the late Mae (Blackwell) Raney and James M. Raney.
Daniel worked for Hoechst Celanese for many years and was a former member at Inman Mills Baptist Church and New Prospect Baptist Church.
He is survived by four siblings, Sam Raney, Debra Henderson (Tommy), Tim Raney and Donna Brown; and many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by a step son, Todd Harvey.
A Cryptside Service will be held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman, SC with Dr. Paul Moore and Mr. Sam Raney officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cryptside.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Inman First Baptist Church Foundation 14 N Howard St. Inman, SC 29349.
