James Reed Obituary
Jim was born to the late Orvie and Mary Reed on December 22, 1939 in Harmony, WV. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Peggy; and sisters: Juanita Lewis, Velma Kiser, and Phyllis Fleaharty.
Jim was a retired Supervisor from Union Carbide. He loved hunting, fishing, camping and spending every chance he could with his family. He was an avid carpenter and could build just about anything.
Jim is survived by his children: Cynthia Reed (Kelly Karnes) and Bonnie Evans (G.J.); grandchildren: Brandi Bayless, James Bayless (Amber), and Kacie Gryder (Trent); great-grandchildren: Joshua, Delainy, Morgan, Reid, Hayes, and Barrett; and brother, Jack Reed.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday November 11, 2025 at Chapman Funeral Home Winfield, WV with David Rich officiating. Entombment will follow in Haven of Rest Memory Gardens.
Friends may visit one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
