James Carl "J.C." Richardson

1953 - 2025

James Carl "J.C." Richardson, 71, of Vendor, passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born on September 12, 1953, in Limestone, Arkansas, to Henry and Frankie Viola Roberson Richardson. J. C. was a man of strong faith and a devoted member of Living Water Full Gospel Church. He was married to Lori Gaye Allen Richardson for 24 years. J. C. loved being outdoors and could often be found working on a tractor or dozer-never one to sit still for long. He loved God and his family deeply and cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Larry and Ronnie Richardson; six sisters, Agnus Young, Edith Richardson, Helen Liggett, Erma Gene Rawlingston, Lavern Baughman, and Johnnie Carlton; a stepson, Cory Ford; and three grandchildren, Ashlee, Autumn, and Corey Ford.
J.C. is survived by his wife, Lori Richardson of Vendor; his children, James Richardson, Larry Richardson, Donald (Charity) Richardson, Sonya Vanderpool, Chris (Tabitha) Ford, and Kevin (Stephanie) Ford; grandchildren, Marissa, Hanah, Kaleb, Dylan, Devan, Autumn, Evan, Mickeal, Ashlynn, Anthony, Kimberly, Eliza, and Henry; seven great-grandchildren; a very special friend, Howard Criner; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at Living Water Full Gospel Church in Bellefonte with Bro. Jim Bohannon and Bro. Anthony Bower officiating. Burial will be private in Hickory Grove Cemetery at Nail. Arrangements are under the direction of Holt Memorial Chapel.
A memorial visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday at Holt Memorial Chapel.
