James Rigel Obituary
James David Rigel (Bud) was born to George and Mary Rigel on November 04, 1941 in Greeley, Colorado and later relocated to New Mexico. James passed away peacefully on December 13th, 2022 at the age of 81 surrounded by family. He is preceded in death by his wife Adeline (Lena) Rigel, Father George W. Rigel, Mother Mary Kathryn Rigel, Brother Bill Rigel, Sister Jane Dragon, Son James Rigel Jr and Great-Great Grandson Jasper.
He is survived by his Daughter Debra (Joe) Tovar, Sister Georgia (Robert) Davis, Brother Robert (Lori) Rigel, Grandsons David Woods, Jose Tovar, Clayton Rigel, James Tovar, Travis Rigel, Christopher Rigel; and a large extended family of 14 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
James(Bud) was a strong Christian Man who loved to serve the
Lord. He was an Entrepreneur, General Contractor and loved Woodworking. James was a selfless family man and the foundation of the family. He was a man of Integrity and a Man of his word. James had a love for Country music, Classic Cars and Southwestern Design. His Legacy will live on through the ones he has left behind.
Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 7th, 2023 at Monterey Babtist church located at 12501 Lomas Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112
The family would like to express our thanks for the wonderful help and care from Luna Del Valle Hospice.

I did not see you close your eyes or hear your last sigh, I only heard that you were gone, it was too late to say goodbye. Both of you were gone before I knew it and only God knows why. No farewell words were spoken, and there was no time to say goodbye. So I will remember both of you just as the beautiful brightly shining Rigel star itself. Bud, I miss you and Jimmy already. Rest in your well-deserved comfort and the peace of Our Lord's eternal Heaven.
