James Howard "Pete" Robinson

James "Pete" Howard Robinson, age 61, of Rock Cave, WV died Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Buckhannon, WV. He was born August 30, 1964, in Buckhannon a son of the late James and Betty Cooper Robinson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his companion, Paula Tenney and sister, Della Rollins. He is survived by two sons, Terry Robinson and Nick Burr both of Rock Cave; four grandsons, Jacob and Caleb Robinson both of Rock Cave and Brycen and Jayce Robinson both of Fairmont, WV; several other grandchildren; seven siblings, Sonny Robinson of Frenchton, WV, Raymond Robinson of Crawford, WV, Earl Robinson of Buckhannon, Sue Hinkle and husband Arnie of Kanawha Head, WV, Ervin Robinson of Buckhannon, Ginger Fisher and husband Leonard of Crawford and Calvin Robinson of French Creek, WV and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Robinson worked in the timber industry and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Friends will be received Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral will be held at 1 PM with Rev. Wease L. Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Rice Cemetery in Canaan, WV. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
