James Henry Roden Jr, 76, of Clymer, NY, passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at his residence.
He was born on February 17, 1949, in Corry, PA, a son of the late James and Virginia (Wickwire) Roden Sr.
Jim was raised and educated in Corry and graduated from Corry High School in 1969. After high school, he worked in the Corry area for several years until he started General Electric. He worked in many different departments for 42 years, retiring in 2013.
He was a member of American Legion Post 365 and enjoyed going on senior citizens bus trips.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Kristen Anderson.
Jim is survived by his wife, Martha (Barringer) Roden, whom he married on November 17, 1973, in Clymer, NY; four children, Shellie (Garal) Kelley, James (Tracy) Roden III, Leon (Diane) Roden and Sara (Bradley) Courson; sister, Leanna (Bill) Linski; brother, Michael (Linda) Roden; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the care of Bracken Funeral Home, Inc., 315 N. Center St, Corry, PA 16407.
