She was born on March 30, 1936, to Christian parents Roy and Erma (Cady) Buesink.
Sandra graduated from Sherman School, where she sang in the choir, played oboe in band, and took piano lessons. Music, especially gospel music, was one of her loves and gifts.
She continued using her musical talents as an organist for a number of different churches and taught piano as well as working in education for a number of years, retiring from Clymer School as a teacher assistant.
God blessed Sandra with a wonderful husband, Roger Westley, and two beautiful daughters, Dawn Westley and Lynne Westley Bemis. In addition, she had four grandchildren, Logan (Amber) Bemis, Colonel Bridget (Pete) Bemis Young, Lindsey (Jeff) Meier, and Trent (Chelsea) Weating; eleven great grandchildren Arleigh Bemis (Ray) Graser, Wyatt (Dakota) Bemis, Saige Wassink, Kyle Wassink, Thomas Young, William Young, Rob Young, Lincoln Meier, Mona Meier, Rowen Meier and Timmy Weating; and four great, great grandchildren, Everett Graser, Harper Bemis, Beckett Bemis and Carson Bemis.
Her loves were the Lord, her family, music, and flowers. She hoped for and fulfilled the goal of touching many in a positive way.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, son-in-law Phil Bemis, great granddaughter Monroe Elizabeth Meier and great great grandson Rowan William Philip Graser.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial service that will be held on Saturday, September 20th at Clymer Methodist Church, 573 Clymer-Sherman Rd, Clymer, NY 14724 at 11 am. Pastor Kevin Costner will officiate.
Donations may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Association, Clymer Fire Department, Clymer Methodist Church, or a tree can be planted in her memory.
Arrangements are under the care of Bracken Funeral Home, Inc., 315 N. Center St, Corry, PA 16407.
