Jim is survived by his wife, Jennifer; step-daughters, Emily (Kyle) Refner, and Elizabeth (Josh) Chumbley; his parents, Lloyd and Catherine Rogers; brothers, Geoffrey Rogers, and Kenneth Rogers; father-in-law, Jake (Linda) Snell; mother-in-law, Linda (Jerry) Colby; sister-in-law, Kristin (Mark) Snelson; nieces, Allison, Jessie, and Emma; great-nieces, Aubree, and Lyla.
Friends are encouraged to support Jim's family by attending services or sharing memories on his Tribute Page at www.prayfuneral.com. Visitation is Friday, October 6, 2023, from Noon until 2:00 p.m. at Pray Funeral Home. A private family funeral service will be held. If desired, the family suggests memorial contributions to Eaton County Humane Society. The family is in the care of Pray Funeral Home, Charlotte.

We met the Rogers Family in 1977 when we moved next door to them in Naperville. We could not have asked for better neighbors. Jim, Geoff and Ken were not only brothers, they were best friends who always had each others backs. Jim would come home frequently for the weekend and I could always see him in the yard working or completing some other task that his parents had on their "to do" lists......always with a smile on his face. Jim was the son and brother every parent would wish for. Our hearts are broken for his loving family. He will be missed by all who knew him.
