Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home & Crematory - SalinaJames Herman “Jim” Rohloff, Sr., 81, of Salina, Kansas, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025.
Jim was born in Woodbine, Kansas, on November 11, 1943, to Nancy Valentine (Hird) and Wilbert Henry Rohloff. After high school, he served his country as an infantryman in the United States Army. Following his military service, Jim spent most of his working life as a dedicated truck driver, traveling the roads with pride and purpose.
In his free time, Jim enjoyed fishing and visiting the casino. He was known for always giving a helping hand.
Jim is survived by his life partner, Marie Collins; two sons, Joey "Joe" Rohloff (Susie) and Jeffrey Rohloff; and two brothers, Jerry Rohloff (Dixie) and Gary Rohloff. He also leaves behind many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will carry his memory forward with love.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Jimmy Jr.; and his sister, Carol Clements.
A memorial gathering will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Monday, September 29, 2025 at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home in Salina, Kansas.
