James Michael Ross (Rossi), age 79 of Osage Beach, passed away Friday, August 30, 2024 surrounded by loved one in his home.
He was born on April 23,1945 Topeka, KS, a son of G Roland and Jean (Bliss) Ross. He was preceded in death by his parents and Sister Marilyn.
He was united in Marriage to his beloved wife Gail Ross on November 12, 2017. They cherished each other dearly and the time they spent together.
Rossi was a loyal Jayhawks fan enjoying both Basketball and Football. Rossi also enjoyed fishing in his boat both on the lake and the river. Rossi never met a stranger, he was loved by all who knew him. He also loved his dogs dearly. He enjoyed following his Grandchildren's sports and activities and attended as many as he could. He was a longtime Charter member of the Elks Lodge #2517 for 50 years.
Rossi left a legacy of Tirebiters that still remains
Rossi is survived by his loving wife Gail, his children James and (Lauren) Maltby, Jillynn and (Ski) Hull. 6 amazing Grandchildren, Dalton, Dylan, Ella, Teagen, Tinley and Talon, Nephews, Cameron (Kim), Kurt and his niece Jennifer (David) and his great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Rossi's life will be held on Saturday October 19th from 3-6 pm at Tirebiters.
