James Elton Royals

Mr. James Elton Royals, age 66 of Willacoochee, Georgia, passed away Friday morning, August 15, 2025 at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia following a short illness. Mr. Royals was born October 20, 1958 to the late Vernon Alton Royals and the late Dorothy Sue Boyd Fordray in Dupont, Georgia. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Richard Dale Royals and his step-mother Lucy Faye Royals. Mr. Royals had be a Supervisor for Elixor Door and Metal for 23 years, and was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Royals is survived by his wife of 45 years, Lanette Pinegar Royals of Willacoochee, Georgia; 3 Children: Christina "Christy Sue" R. Newham and husband John of Fitzgerald, Georgia, Angela "Angie" R. Long and husband Jason of Douglas, Georgia, Vernon Christopher "Lilman" Royals of Douglas, Georgia; 6 Grandchildren: Kayla (Walker) Smith, Kelsey (Harley) Crews, Brooke McNab, Christopher James Royals, Jaxen Royals, Richard John Allen Royals; 2 Great Grandchildren: Makenzie Crews and Aleaha Crews; 1 Brother, Sid Mizell and wife Hope of Homerville, Georgia; 5 Sisters: Virginia P. Lupo of Homerville, Georgia, Frances R. Mizell, Rachel R. Shelton and husband Randy of Branson, Missouri, Linda R. Towler and husband Bill of Ozark, Missouri and Norma Jean Royals of Missouri. Memorialization will be by cremation and no services have been scheduled at this time.
