James S. Russo, 56, formerly of Clinton and Waltham passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2024 in Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, surrounded by his loved ones.
He was the husband of the late Candice (Chapman) Russo.
Jim was born in Boston in 1968, the son of the late James and Anna (Papaforti) Russo and was a graduate of Waltham High School in Waltham.
Mr. Russo had worked for several technical staffing companies including ones in Marlboro and Tyngsborough and excelled at his trade having been born with the gift of gab. He was a natural at negotiating and putting others at ease.
Jim enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He enjoyed walking his dog, reading non-fiction, true crime shows and podcasts, camping, and was a lifelong fan of professional sports. He had a deep knowledge of collegiate and professional sports that was impressive and also enjoyed cheering on the Patriots, Celtics, and Bruins. He also loved animals and was always particularly fond of Siberian Huskies and spent many days enjoying walks with his Husky Alaska.
He survived by his loving brother, Peter J. Russo and his wife Dawn of Uxbridge; a niece, Amanda, cousins, and Omar Sebihi of Arlington.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is also predeceased by his aunt, Linda Papforti, his maternal grandmother Mary Fotis, his great aunt and uncle Georgia and George Pappas, and his paternal grandmother Assunta(Susie) Russo.
