Mrs. Kathleen Helen Wright, 84, of
Uxbridge, MA died unexpectedly on Monday, February 23, 2026 with her loving family by her side. Kathy was born at home in
Milford, MA on Nov. 1, 1941, the daughter of the late Edward C. and Helen J. (Redden) Carroll.
She was the wife of Richard A. Wright, of
Uxbridge, MA, her beloved husband of 46 years. Kathy is also survived by her daughters who she cherished dearly: Cheryl (Wright) Eidinger-Taylor and her husband, Bruce of Warwick, RI, Justine (Tina) Wildfeuer and her husband Steven of Northbridge MA and Jennifer Wright of Milford MA; her grandchildren who always lit up her sweet face with a smile: Bruce Eidinger and his wife Samantha of Middlefield CT, Jessica Smith and her husband Thomas Jude of Raynham, MA, Amanda Kidder of Whitinsville MA, Sarah Wildfeuer and Emily Wildfeuer of Northbridge MA; her great grandchildren who she adored; Max and Eloise Eidinger, Landon, Camden and Kennedy Smith; and her dear siblings: Dennis Carroll of Mendon MA and Maureen Benoit of Uxbridge MA; She was the sister of the late Patrick Carroll of Blackstone MA. Kathy's caring ways will be greatly missed by all who were touched and lifted by her love.
A graduate of Milford High School Class of 1959 Kathy soon married and moved to Millbury MA where she started her family with her former husband, the late Herbert E. Wright, Jr. Kathy was a devoted mother to her girls when they were young and later worked as a bookkeeper for some time until she became disabled. In1976 Kathy and her daughters moved back to Milford. In 1979 Kathy was remarried to Richard and welcomed his children to her heart and family who she is also survived by: Michelle Wright of Dorchester MA and Wesley Wright and his wife Tammy of Marcy NY; her grandchildren from Wesley's former marriage to Anne (Bilodeau) Wright: Danielle, Tamara and Glenroy Wright of NY, and her great grandchildren.
No public service will be held. The family will hold a private Celebration of Life in her honor as she wished.
