James (Jim) Rybarczyk, 84, of Plover, died Saturday December 14, 2024, at Marshfield Medical Center.
James was born on September 23, 1940, in Stevens Point. He was the son of the late Anton and Dorothy (Cryan) Rybarczyk. He attended local schools. His marriage to Kathy Bukowski took place on February 13, 1965, at St. Peters Catholic Church in Stevens Point.
James worked at Madison Elementary School. He enjoyed listening to polka music, watching football, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife Kathy of Plover; children Sheila (Tim) Webb, Dawn (Tim) Lewis, Kelly Della Silva, Scott (Kelly) Rybarczyk.
He is further survived by seven grandchildren: Nicole, Nicholas, Meghan, Kyle, Hana, Madelyn, Xanto. Two Great-Grandchildren; Ivy, Charlie.
Also survived by sister Delores (Val) Glodowski. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Alfred, Ervin, and Leonard, sisters Theresa Ziaya, Esther Ziaya, Florence Kedrowski, Eleanor Gagas.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff both at Marshfield Hospital and Palliative Unit for wonderful, compassionate care for Jim, and all their support they gave his family.
A Mass of Christian Burial for James will be held at 10:30a.m. on Thursday December 19, 2024, at St. Peter Catholic Church-800 Fourth Avenue, Stevens Point. Rev. John Potaczek will officiate. Burial will follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held in the Faustina Room at St. Peter Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services.
