James Nicholas Sansone, age 61, of Paterson, NJ, passed away unexpectedly on February 11, 2025.
Jim or Jimmy, as he was affectionately known, was born on January 21, 1964 in New York, NY to Salvatore and Joan (Bracco) Sansone. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and 'close' business acquaintance to anyone he engaged in dialogue; his mantra was, "You aren't selling if you aren't trying."
He was predeceased by his parents: his Dad in 2022 and then his Mom last April 2024. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Joanne and Dennis Verboys of Highland Mills, NY, and his brother and sister-in-law John and Jennifer Sansone of Warwick, NY; as well as nieces and nephews Kathryn Verboys, Caroline and Michael Kelly, Nicholas Verboys, Matthew, Hannah, and Brian Sansone.
Jim lived most of his life in Suffern, NY, where he attended high school and commuted to RCC and Ramapo College. He worked in sales for a variety of different industries including cellular phones, industrial equipment, and analytical publications involving finance/leasing services. He loved his family and treasured spending time with them. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was always ready to tell a joke, even if it wasn't politically correct. He was an avid sports fan who loved to watch and converse about his beloved Miami Dolphins and LA Dodgers. James also had a love for reptiles, especially snakes which he had kept as pets since childhood.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bronx Zoo.
