He was born March 16, 1930 in Naples, Italy, son of Gaetano Sansone and Josephina Stinka.
Growing up in Italy, he played soccer and served in the Italian Army.
He married Concetta on May 5th 1959 in Naples, Italy. He then moved to Newark, New Jersey and became a citizen of United States on December 21, 1961. He moved to Gloversville, New York, where he worked as an auto mechanic, and then relocated to Naples, Florida in 1974. Salvatore enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening, fishing, and catching blue crabs at the beach.
Salvatore is survived by wife, Concetta Sansone, Naples, FL, son, Pasquale Lino Sansone, Naples, FL, daughter, Michelle West and spouse Larry West, Naples, FL, son, Joseph Sansone and spouse Beth Sansone, Niceville, FL, son, Gaetano Sansone and spouse Julie Sansone, Ft. Myers, FL, as well as six grandchildren and two great grand children. Salvatore was preceded in death by three brothers Gennaro, Joseph, and Pasquale Sansone, and three sisters Maria, Anna, and Sue.
