James Sheldon Obituary
James Dennis Sheldon passed away July 15, 2024 at the age of 85. He was born November 8, 1938 to Wilfred and Margaret Sheldon in Detroit, Michigan.
James was married to Eleanor for 63 years and they had two daughters, Denise and Cynthia.
For 20 years, James served in the U.S. Navy and followed that career with 22 years at Ford Motor Company. In his free time, he enjoyed reading, playing golf and spending time Up North.
James is survived by his wife, Eleanor; daughters, Denise and Cynthia; grandson, Alexander; brother, Thomas and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Pat (nee. Maletta) and brother, John.
Visitation for James will be held Wednesday, July17th from 3:00 - 8:00PM with a Rosary service at 7:00 PM at Manns Family Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, July 18th at 11:00 AM with final visiting at 10:30 AM at Manns Family Funeral Home.
