James Shepherd Obituary
James was born October 7, 1937 in Wacissa, FL to James G. Shepherd, Sr. and Zella Mae Shepherd. He was employed by the City of Tallahassee and was a Veteran of the United States
Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Nell Shepherd; one son, Warren G. Shepherd of Crawfordville; one daughter, Jennifer Browning of Tallahassee; one brother, Gene Shepherd of Crawfordville; two sisters, Maudine Casey of Simpsonville, SC, and Geri Roddenberry of Sopchoppy; and four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at Beggs Funeral Homes, 3322 Apalachee Parkway, Tallahassee, FL 32311, (850) 942-2929. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. prior to service in the Chapel. Burial will follow at Beth Page Cemetery with Military Honors.
