James Shubert Obituary
James "Herman" Shubert, age 96 of Butler, Missouri died Monday, December 8, 2025 at his home. He was born March 8, 1929 to Charles Elmer and Ruth Elizabeth Hughes Shubert in Altona, Missouri.
Herman is survived by three children, Gay L. Nissen and husband Ron of Butler, Missouri, Jim Shubert of Butler, Missouri and Melody Joy Shubert of Augusta, Kansas; six grandchildren, Jimmy Nissen (Melissa), Julia Barber (Lee), Jeff Nissen and Daniel Shubert (Abby) all of Butler, Missouri as well as Tanner Brunhoeber (Ashley) and Cheyenne McGuffey (Wade) of Andover, Kansas; 11 great-grandchildren, Hunter (Lynsey), Gabriel, Isaiah, Jedidiah, Libby, Luke, Allie, Stetson, Beau, Adalida and Olivia; one great-great-granddaughter, Addilyn; and one sister, Judy Colburn of Butler, Missouri. Herman was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Lee Shubert; two brothers, Carl, Claude Dale Shubert; and one sister, Roberta Harrison
