James Richard Sincell

James R. Sincell, 51, of Red Jacket, WV passed away early Saturday morning, January 10, 2026, while an inpatient in the Pikeville Medical Center of Pikeville, KY. He was born March 1, 1974, in Williamson, WV. He was the beloved son to the late Jesse James Sincell and Patricia Hatfield who survives him.

In addition to his father, James is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Richard and Kathleen Blankenship; and his paternal grandparents, Elijah and Freda Sincell.

James was a member of the Cornerstone Church of Hatfield Bottom in Matewan, WV. He was known for his love of music and especially loved playing his drums.

James is survived by his loving wife, Pamela Lynette Sincell; his sons, Matthew and Eric Sincell; his daughter, Stephine Runyon and her fiancé, Jordan Whitt; his grandchildren, Grayson Sincell, Preston Savage, and Olivia Dotson. and his mother, Patricia Hatfield; He is also survived by a special friend, Bert Staton.

James will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
