James Allen Sines, age 58, of Exline, passed away Monday, July 14, 2025 at his home.
James was born on February 24, 1967 in Ottumwa, Iowa, the son of Curtis and Janice (Conger) Sines. James worked at Young Radiator for a period of time before becoming disabled.
In his free time, James enjoyed getting ice cream with his grandchildren, fishing, carpentry and woodworking. He was someone anyone could talk to about anything. James was also known for being ornery, funny and making people around him laugh. He was a person that will be missed by many.
Left to honor his memory are his children, Cory (Shelby) Sines and Cokie Sines (Scotty); his grandchildren, Kennedy Sines, Dustin Buban and Halen Buban; his siblings, Greg (Lisa) Sines and Jeff (Vickie) Sines; as well as several extended family members and friends.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis Sines and Janice Breese; as well as other family members and friends.
Per wishes, cremation has been accorded. There are no scheduled services at this time. Memorials in honor of James may be made to Cory Sines, to be determined at a later date, and mailed to Thomas Funeral Home, ATTN: Sines Family, 501 North 18 th Street, Centerville, Iowa 52544.
