James D. "J.D." Smith, 61, of Massillon, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023.
He was born in Massillon on February 8, 1962 to the late Rowland A. "Ron" and Saundra L. (Tennill) Smith.
He is survived by a daughter, Tarrian McClead of Brewster; a granddaughter, Vivian; and sisters, Mary (James) Brown of Spanaway, WA, Peggy (Ken) Chovan of Massillon, Terri (Bill) Gaynor of Massillon, Paula (Lee) Snyder of Byesville Amie (Mitch) Valentine of Brookville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Richard and Jack Smith.
Following his wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at TRS, 117 Pekin Drive, SE, East Canton, OH 44730 on Friday, August 25, 2023 starting at 3:30 pm.
