James Smith Obituary
James Phillip Smith, “Jimmy”, 60, of Spartanburg, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024. Born in Cowpens, South Carolina on July 30, 1963, he was the son of the late Patricia Ann Williams. He was a loving and caring father, son, and friend. He had many talents as well as hobbies, such as fishing, bowling, skiing, and roller skating. He had worked as a truck driver at First Tee Transport. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by one daughter, Summer Plumley, and two sons, Justin Smith and Hunter Smith; two grandchildren, Karma “Shiann” Marshall and Cain Smith; a sister Cynthia Hyatt, and a brother Billy Hyatt.
Visitation will be held at 1:00 on Friday, May 31, 2024 at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel in Spartanburg, South Carolina. After the service, burial will be in the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at their respective homes.
