He married Donna Vanderploeg on May 25, 1968, celebrating 55 years together.
Jim is survived by his wife, Donna; children, Colleen (Brian) Geurts, Julie (Jim) Vyskocil, Kevin (Jill) Stadter; grandchildren, James (Robin), Kevin, Brett (Emily), Stephanie, Jessie, Brianna, Caitlyn, Courtney, and Sierra; great-grandchildren, Chloe, Cameron, and Chevelle; siblings, Ruth, Loretta, Bill (Carol), Mary, Joyce, and Bruce (Tracey); brothers and sister-in-law, Dennis (Karen), Keith (Kathy), Jim (Cindy), Wayne, and Gail; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
