James McDonald Starnes Jr. 64, of Concord , passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at Transitional Health Services in Kannapolis, NC.
Mr. Starnes was born December 16, 1960 in Concord, North Carolina to the late James McDonald Starnes, Sr. and the late Shirley Claudette Starnes.
He was also preceded in death by brother, Jeffrey Lynn Starnes.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 1:45 pm, Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Hartsell Funeral Home and the service officiated by Rev. Don Burleyson. Burial will follow at the West Concord Cemetery at 331 Union Cemetery Rd SW, Concord.
Survivors include daughter, Kelly (Teodulo Martinez) Martinez of Concord, NC, daughter, Amanda (Andy) McManus of Concord, NC, daughter, Kimberly (Alfredo Martinez) Starnes, daughter, Jessica (Jonathan Melvin) Melvin of Albemarle, NC, daughter, Tandy (Juan Banda) Starnes of Huntersville, NC. Also surviving are brother, Mark (Heather) Starnes of Concord, NC and sister, Michaela (Gene) Starnes Britt of Lexington, NC. Along with 17 grandkids and 4 great-grandkids.
Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Starnes family.
