James "Jim" Staska, age 85, passed away October 24, 2025. He was born February 25, 1940 to Joseph and Margaret (Jordan) Staska in Omaha, NE. On November 2, 1963, Jim married the love of his life, Pamela (Taylor), and together they were blessed with three children.
Jim worked as a plumber for 40 years and was a proud member of Plumbers Local Union #16.
In his free time, Jim could often be found in his garage working on projects or making sure his vehicles-especially his truck-were spotless and waxed to perfection. He enjoyed taking car rides with his dog to pick up lottery tickets. Above all, Jim loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Faith Staska.
Jim is survived by his wife, Pam Staska; children, Tracy Staska, Joe Staska (Amanda), Belinda (Kraig) Voss; sister, Marjo (David) Dickinson; 11 grandchildren, Emilee, Rachael, Abby, Raegan, Haley, Cole, Charliegh, Harper, Hannah, Kaleb, Gabe; 4 great grandchildren, Ayla, Grant, Miles, Hollyn and another on the way; and a host of other family and friends.
