James Stratton Obituary

James "Jim" Stratton, age 85, of Pikeville, Kentucky passed away Friday, January 9, 2026 at the Pikeville Medical Center.
He was a retired Plant Manager for K.O.R.C., a member of the Pikeville Freewill Baptist Church and a veteran of the United States Army.
Jim was born at Stanville, Kentucky on August 22, 1940, the son of the late Arthur Darrell Stratton and Thora Brewer Stratton.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two stepdaughters, Debra Howe and Paula Glenn, two brothers, Jack Ramie Stratton and Arthur Darrell Junior Stratton and three sisters, Billie Thompson, Bonnie Stratton and Sylvia "Polly" Hall.
He is survived by his wife, Billie Gail Barnette Stratton and his stepdaughter, Kimberly Lockhart.
He is also survived by five grandchildren, Will Lockhart (Kristen), Hannah Lockhart, David Glenn IV, Colin Glenn and Zachary Harman and three great-grandchildren, Landry Lockhart, John William Lockhart III and Brendon Harman.
Visitation will after 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 10, 2026 in the J.W. Call Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Services will be 12:00 p.m. Noon, Saturday, January 10, 2026 in the J.W. Call Funeral Home Chapel with Jim Patton officiating. Burial will follow in Johnson Memorial Park. Military Rites will be conducted by Johns Creek DAV Chapter 166.
