James E. Strausbaugh

James Edward Strausbaugh, age 74 of Columbus, Ohio passed away in the presence of family on August 29, 2023, due to complications from leukemia. He was born on April 18, 1949. He grew up in Coshocton, Ohio. James graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture. He obtained Ohio Architectural Registration in 1988. During his career he worked on a variety of project types including medical facilities, churches, offices, schools, retail and hospitality. James was involved with Columbus Koinonia, Super Kids, and his church. He had a strong faith in his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He walked out his faith in all aspects of his life by showing compassion for people. James is survived by his family, including sons Andrew Strausbaugh and Jeff Strausbaugh (wife Heather, daughters Emma and Avery). The funeral service will be a private event.
