Born in New Castle on June 4, 1950, James was the son of the late Daniel and Anna Frank Szewczyk.
James had worked at Shenango China for twenty-five years. He had proudly served his country as a member of the National Guard.
James is survived by his brother, Larry Szewczyk and his wife Kathy and two nephews.
Honoring his wishes services are private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.
