James Carroll Tenison, known as Jim, was born on March 7, 1968 in Tarrant County, Texas to Carroll Tenison and Shirley Dean (Wooten) Tenison. He passed from this life into the loving arms of his Savior on February 25, 2024 in Tulsa, Oklahoma after a brief illness.
Jim graduated from High School in Nixon, Texas. He was a very sincere, polite, and funny man who loved to laugh. Jim loved God and looked forward to attending church. He enjoyed working puzzles, watching movies, and especially sharing a room with his brother John at COPPS Residential Facility in Claremore. Visits from his family always brightened his day. His unexpected passing leaves a void in the lives of those who loved him.
Jim was preceded in death by his father, Carroll Tenison, and his mother and step-father, Shirley Dean and Hans George Trinks.
He is survived by his siblings: Pamela Perry and husband Don of Little Rock, Arkansas, John Tenison of Claremore, Oklahoma, Penni Warren and husband Rush of Terlingua, Texas, and Stephen Tenison of Arlington, Washington. Jim also leaves several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles to mourn his passing
