James Roland Thompson

James "Jimmy" Roland Thompson, age 50 passed away unexpectedly October 9th 2024. Loving Dad to Mikayla Thompson and Tyler Thompson. Loving Grandpaw to Maddie girl, Thunder Butt, BBJ, Cloudy, Blaze, Baby Moo and Smokey. Dear son of Joan Carpenter and Roland Thompson (deceased). Loving brother to Renee (Russ) Stemple, Loretta Thompson, Sharon (William) Thomas, Jill Thompson (deceased) and Beth Thompson. Godfather to Nikolas Kumel and Kyla Przela. He is survived by numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends. One of Jimmy's biggest accomplishments was being a father. His children, Mikayla and Tyler knew he was always there for them through their ups and downs. He was incredibly proud of the adults they were becoming and looking forward to milestones in their lives. Jimmy had an incredibly strong work ethic and provided for his family. Jimmy loved sending silly snaps once he fingered out all that technology stuff. He was always making up songs to sing to keep you laughing and smiling. Jimmy loved animals, Lexi, Kali, Ella, Storm, Sunny and Midnight were always near him. In addition to his animals he loved his grand animals. Jimmy loved to fish with his son Tyler. Jimmy also enjoyed grilling and sitting by the fire. Some of his favorite sayings were "He's a grown ass man" and "She don't know, she's out of control." A private funeral will be held. A celebration of Jimmy's life will be held Friday October 18th from 3-9 at American Legion Post 678, 570 E 328th Street Willowick, OH.
