Funeral services for James “Tiny” Patrick Meshell will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 9891 Texas Highway, Many, Louisiana with Bro. Dean Hillman officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery, 307 Hammond Street, Zwolle, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, February 12, 2024, at Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Many, Louisiana and again on Tuesday morning from 8:00 a.m. until service time at 10:00 a.m.
“Tiny”, 44 of Zwolle, Louisiana, was born February 14, 1979, in Pleasant Hill, Louisiana to Lennis Ray Meshell and Linda (King) Meshell and went to his heavenly home February 8, 2024, in Shreveport, Louisiana after a brief illness.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Joseph T. Meshell; his maternal grandparents, Thomas King and Theresa Remedies; and his brother, Nick Brevelle. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Sarah (Sepulvado) Meshell of Zwolle, LA; his sons, James Patrick Meshell, Jr. and Caleb Meshell both of Zwolle, LA; his father, Lennis Ray Meshell (Lisa Matthews) of Zwolle, LA; his mother, Linda Banta (Burt) of Channelview, TX; his paternal grandmother, Marjorie Craig “ Rebe” of Zwolle, LA; his sisters, Rebecca King (Mike) of Many, LA, Jessica Stege (Jason) of Dayton, TX, Margie Padilla (Raphael) of Dayton, TX, and Jessica Watson (John) of Converse, LA; and his step-sisters, Chelsea Matthews and Kaitlyn Matthews both of Zwolle, LA. In addition, he also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.
Honoring him as pallbearers will be Raphael Padilla, Jason Stege, Trey Harris, Brian Sepulvado, C. J. Brown, and Bean Brown. His honorary pallbearers will be Bubba Westbrook, Jeffery Sepulvado, and Brad Corley.
