Funeral services for Tina Marie Meshell, 67, will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery in Bossier City. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Officiating the service will be Father Fidel Mondragon.
Tina Marie Meshell, born on July 29, 1957, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on January 6, 2025, in Bossier City, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Trexler; brother, Johnny Trexler, and has now been reunited with her beloved husband, Donald Meshell.
Tina is survived by her sons, Jon, and wife, Brenda, Donald, Jr. and wife, Dola, and daughter, Nicole and partner, Matt. She was a proud “Meme” to Haley, Nicolas, Cory, Cameron, Emerson, and Memphis, and she leaves behind numerous great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. As the oldest of seven siblings, Tina’s love and influence extended throughout her family.
For over 35 years, Tina dedicated her career to the Willis Knighton Health System and the WK Cancer Center, where she devoted her life to helping others with compassion and care. She will be remembered for her fun spirit, outgoing personality, and unwavering work ethic.
Honoring Tina as pallbearers will be Stephen Smiddy, Calvin Niemann, Don Elmore, Nicolas Meshell, Cory Coffman, and Donald “Scooter” Meshell, Jr.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Pilgrim Manor and the doctors and staff at Willis Knighton Bossier ER for their compassionate care.
Tina’s legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to her family and community will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
