James Toal Obituary

James was born in Kearny, NJ and grew up in Harrison. He moved to Hazlet where he lived for a few years before settling with his family in Toms River for the past 40 years. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War as a Medic (1969-1971). He graduated in 1982 from Rutgers University with his Masters in Business Administration. Before retiring in 2007, he was a Lead Senior Project Manager for PSE&G for 36 years. James loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandbabies. He was a member of the "Ortley Circle". He was also a member and the Past President of the "He-man Woman Hater's Club". He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
Visiting will be on Friday, November 24, 2023 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at the Silverton Memorial Funeral Home 2482 Church Road, Toms River, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday 9:30am at St. Justin the Martyr Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, November 25, 2023. Entombment will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer's Association 400 Morris Avenue, SUITE 251, Denville, NJ 07834-1365 would be appreciated.
