James F. TWOHIG

TWOHIG, James F. Jr. Age 72, passed away peacefully, on April 14, 2025, at his residence in Dorchester, Massachusetts. Jim was born in Springfield, MA in 1952. He was raised in Longmeadow and later settled in East Falmouth. He graduated from UMass Amherst with a bachelor's degree. Jim went on to spent many of his working years at Battles Auto Center. He was an avid gardener and loved fishing. Known for his friendly spirit, dry wit and love of conversation, Jim made a lasting impression on everyone who crossed his path. Jim is survived by his two loving sisters, Mary Ann Hickey of Marblehead, Ohio and Jeanne Concannon of Mashpee, MA. He also leaves behind five nieces and nephews and nine great-nieces and great-nephews. Jim was a lifelong fan of New England sports, never missing a Bruins game and always cheering for the Patriots on Sundays. He also had a soft spot for classic comedy, especially The Three Stooges, which he could watch for hours on New Year's Eve, with the same delight every time.
